Rider Middle School proudly supports military-connected students and families by providing a welcoming, engaging, and student-centered learning environment. We recognize that military life often requires students to adapt to new schools, communities, and experiences, and we are committed to helping every student feel connected and successful from their first day on campus.
Middle school is an important time of academic, social, and personal growth. Rider offers a variety of opportunities for students to become involved in athletics, fine arts, clubs, leadership activities, and academic programs that help build confidence, character, and lifelong skills. Our staff works closely with military families to support smooth transitions and ensure students quickly become active members of the Raider community.
Campus-Based Military Liaison
Military Liaison Duties Include:
- Serving as the campus point of contact for military-connected students and families.
- Assisting with enrollment and records transfer.
- Coordinating support services for military-connected students.
- Connecting families with community resources.
- Supporting student transitions during military relocations.
- Providing information regarding educational opportunities and support programs.
- Supporting campus staff through military-connected student awareness and training opportunities.

Military-connected students often transition between school districts, states, and educational systems. Rider Middle School is committed to supporting academic continuity and helping students successfully transition into new learning environments while maintaining academic progress.
Campus staff work closely with families to review academic records, determine appropriate placement, and ensure students have access to the programs and services necessary for success.
